фин. катастрофная облигация* (облигация, выпускаемая страховой компанией, специализирующейся на покрытии рисков потерь от природных катастроф, таких как наводнения, землетрясения, ураганы и др.; отличается от обычных облигаций тем, что ее доходность зависит от того, произойдет ли в определенный период определенное стихийное бедствие; доход по таким облигациям существенно выше, чем по обычным облигациям, в те периоды, когда крупных стихийных бедствий не происходит, однако в случае наступления природной катастрофы инвесторы теряют часть денег)
